FIVE GET EXPURGATED

These pages list textual variants in Enid Blyton’s Famous Five stories (1942–1963). The focus is on wording and letters, not punctuation, capitalisation or lineation. The likes of to-day/today and sergeant/Sergeant are technically different, but such occurrences are too numerous to contemplate, and there had to be a cut-off point somewhere. Note that publication dates do not necessarily show when a change was made, just when it was made by, with the exception of 1991, when the revised editions were issued.
